His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday afternoon received in separate audiences outgoing Foreign Envoys to Brunei Darussalam. The Audience Ceremonies took place at Istana Nurul Iman.
His Majesty first received in audience His Excellency Amphay Kindavong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to Brunei Darussalam. Followed by His Excellency Hisham bin Abdul Wahab bin Abdullah Zaraa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia to Brunei Darussalam. And finally, His Excellency Abdolhamid Fekri, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Brunei Darussalam.

The Prime Minister's Office was established on 1st January 1984 on the resumption of full independence and sovereignty of Brunei Darussalam.
