Management of International Relations relating to e-Government

Monitoring the implementation of e-Government Strategic Plan

Monitor the direction and implementation of the National Centre for e-Government

Monitor the direction and implementation of ICT projects of the Prime Minister’s Office and its departments

Provision of ICT technical support for Prime Minister’s Office and its departments





ITEG (PMO CIO office) role is responsible in the planning, development and delivery of ICT program and projects. It also includes providing consultancy advice and support to the departments under the Prime Minister’s Office in matters related to ICT implementation. 

The CIO Office overlooks the following areas of responsibilities:


ITEG Research
  • Research works on IT and e-Government.
  • Management and monitoring of ITEG KPIs.
  • Ensure alignment to e-Govt Strategic Plan and PMO Strategic Plan (incl. Civil Service Framework (CSF) and Civil Service.
  • Support on International matters for examples e-Commerce and , MOU.

PMO Programme Office (PMO)
  • Project Management of E-Governments and IT Projects for divisions and departments under PMO.
  • Monitor the direction and implementation of ICT projects of the Prime Minister’s Office and its departments.

Application Development
  • Design and develop in-House Application system based on the users requirements.
  • Support the PMO and PMO departments’ websites.
  • Support the PMO and PMO departments Intranet.

Service Assurance

Quality assurance and monitoring of service utilization for such services like OGN and other online services. Service Assurance team will be in close collaboration with the Operations & Infrastructure Division and the Service Management Division at EGNC HQ to provide management and support in the following areas:
  • Application Support
  • End-User Support
  • Infrastructure & Network Administration
  • Infrastructure and Infostructure Security
