Planning and initiative need to take a delivery approach to obtain the desired outcome. Therefore it is a requirement for members to be far-sighted and forward moving. They need to take mitigation measures and make appropriate preparations before any problem arises. I am happy to hear the proposals or ideas of the appointed Legislative Council members on how to reduce dependence on oil and gas resources. Also on how the country can generate revenue and how the government can become a partner in enhancing the country's and the people's economic growth.
